I don't know how current this is, but the mobile version is still black text on black bg

I have no issues using mobile version, although you can always switch to classic view which displays the website as you view it on PC.

The forum categories and whatnot are fine, it's just posts that have this. I hypothesize that Androids are ok, but iDevices have the problem, hence Ego's statement:

Android mobile version is still hard to read. In sunlight its inpossible. 
Text can be green like in classic version then it will be much easier to read.
